(UTV | COLOMBO) – Angelina Jolie is set to write, direct and produce the film “Without Blood” for Fremantle with shooting having begun around southern Italy and Rome.
Based on the international bestselling novel by Italian writer Alessandro Baricco, the story is set in the aftermath of an unidentified conflict and will explore “universal truths about war, trauma, memory and healing”.
Salma Hayek and Demian Bichir star alongside an international cast and production team. The project will mark Jolie’s fifth directorial feature effort.
