India helps SL to print school textbook

(UTV | COLOMBO) – Sri Lanka will receive loan aid from India to produce textbooks for students in the year 2023 as it fights the continuing economic crisis brought on by surging prices and a currency shortage.

Susil Premejanatha, the minister of education, stated that preparations have been made to import raw materials, such as papers and ink, needed for textbook production under an Indian credit line.

The textbook must be printed and ready by January in order to be used in the March 2023 school year.
