USAID Administrator Samantha Power to arrive in Sri Lanka

(UTV | COLOMBO) – Administrator of the United States Agency for International Development Samantha Power is scheduled to arrive in the island on Saturday.

During her two-day visit to Sri Lanka, she is due to hold talks with President Ranil Wickremesinghe.

Additionally, Samantha Power is expected to hold discussions with government and opposition members and civil society representatives.

She is visiting Sri Lanka two days ahead of the 51st regular sessions of the United Nations Human Rights Council.
