Only 100 Bowsers delivering fuel in Sri Lanka

(UTV | COLOMBO) – The Secretary of the Lanka Petroleum Private Tanker Owners Association says that the number of bowsers used for the distribution of fuel to filling stations has reduced to 100.

He said that earlier nearly 350 to 400 bowsers were used for fuel distribution. In such a background, fuel queues are seen in every part of the country.

Meanwhile, the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) emphasizes that the corporation has sufficient fuel stocks, and there is no shortage.

Further, the Lanka IOC says that it has not restricted the distribution of fuel.
