(UTV | UNITED KINGDOM) – Amazon Prime Video has released the first trailer for its English-language remake of 2014’s psychological thriller “Goodnight Mommy”.
Naomi Watts stars as a mother visited by her twin sons (Cameron and Nicholas Crovetti), who come to stay with her at her country home.
But when the boys arrive, they find their mother – or the woman claiming to be her – covered in bandages after undergoing recent cosmetic surgery.
As her behavior becomes increasingly erratic and bizarre, the boys’ concern turns to suspicion, and they must decide what to do about the person beneath the gauze.
Matt Sobel directs the project, which was written by Kyle Warren. It will release on September 16th on Amazon Prime Video.
