Diesel cargo to begin unloading today

(UTV | COLOMBO) – A diesel shipment will begin unloading today.

Minister of Energy Kanchana Wijesekera said they completed the payment for the diesel cargo yesterday.

The Energy Minister also confirmed that advance payments have been made to obtain another petrol cargo and a diesel shipment.

Meanwhile, the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation has entered into a one-year agreement to supply Jet fuel.

Accordingly, the first Jet fuel cargo is expected to arrive between the 12th and 14th of August.
