SL receives humanitarian supplies from Tamil Nadu

(UTV | COLOMBO) – Tamil Nadu Government has donated humanitarian supplies valued at over Rs.3.4 billion to Sri Lanka.

Taking to Twitter, the High Commission of India in Colombo said the consignment donated by Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin included 40,000MT of rice, 500MT of milk powder and over 100MT of medicines worth USD 22 million.

The donation was accepted by Ministers Ali Sabry and Keheliya Rambukwella in the presence of several Parliamentarians and other dignitaries.
