Diesel shipment to reach SL tomorrow (15)

(UTV | COLOMBO) – The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) noted that a vessel carrying 40,000 MT of diesel is scheduled to arrive in the country on Friday (15).

The Chairman of the CPC said that the relevant payments have been made for the vessel carrying fuel.

He further said another few vessels carrying petrol and diesel are scheduled to arrive in the country next week.

Meanwhile, due to the lack of fuel people are still facing severe difficulties.

Most of the people across the country are still waiting in queues to obtain fuel.

Due to the delay of fuel, confrontations have taken place in several filling stations.
