Dhammika Perera resigns from Ministerial Post

(UTV | COLOMBO) – Recently appointed Minister of Investment Promotion Dhammika Perera has resigned from his ministerial position.

In a letter to the President on Sunday (10), Dhammika Perera said he accepted the position taking into consideration the current economic situation and the great love he has for the country.

“I am now of the view that Sri Lanka should expedite to identify and implement a solution that will achieve economic stability and address the needs of the people of the country,” he said in the letter.
