Court to hear case on Basil Rajapaksa from November 8

(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – The Colombo High Court is to commence hearing into a case involving former Minister Basil Rajapaksa from November 8. He is accused of allegedly misappropriating funds belonging to the ‘Divi Neguma’ Department while distributing roofing sheets among ‘Divi Neguma’ beneficiaries during the Presidential Election.
