(UTV | COLOMBO) – The All-island Petroleum Private Tanker Owners Association say that the island-wide distribution of fuel has declined, with only 30% of tanker capacity being utilized for fuel distribution.
Chairman of the Fuel Distributors’ Association, W.S.S. Fernando stated that filling stations are not being supplied sufficient stocks of fuel, leading to long queues at filling stations.
Therefore, he urged the people to NOT to queue up at filling stations, since sufficient fuel stocks are not distributed to filling stations.
According to Fernando, a very limited amount of fuel has been distributed in the Western Province.
