Japanese Govt. grants $1.5 Mn to Sri Lanka

(UTV | COLOMBO) – The Japanese government will contribute $1.5 million in emergency relief to Sri Lanka through the United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF).

The $1.5 million contribution will allow UNICEF to purchase medicines for 1.2 million people, including 53,000 pregnant women and approximately 122,000 children in immediate need.
