(UTV | COLOMBO) – The Department of Examinations has decided to permit the conduct of tuition classes, lectures, and seminars for the 2021 GCE Ordinary Level Examination until midnight on Friday.
The ban on the conduct of tuition classes, lectures, and seminars for O/L students was due to come into force from today.
Commissioner General of Examinations LMD Dharmasena said however considering the climate in the country during the past two weeks, they have decided to extend the timeframe granted to conduct tuition classes and seminars until midnight on Friday.
The Commissioner General of Examinations said any individual found to be violating this regulation after Friday will be dealt with under provisions of the Exams Act.
