Litro gas distribution delayed

(UTV | COLOMBO) – Litro Gas company says domestic gas cylinder distribution will be delayed by at least three days despite yesterday’s announcement.

Litro Chairman Vijitha Herath informed that they were unable to offload the LP gas shipment yesterday as planned, owing to bad weather.

He said therefore the distribution will be delayed and requested the general public not to stand in queues until further notice.

Litro Gas Company yesterday said payments were made for two LP gas shipments.

The Litro Chairman said that a shipment carrying 2,800MT of gas will be offloaded last night.

Accordingly, 80,000 domestic gas cylinders were expected to be distributed daily from today.
