(UTV | COLOMBO) – SLFP General Secretary Dayasiri Jayasekara, Ranjith Siyambalapitiya & Dushmantha Mithrapala have met Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe to discuss regarding SLFP support in forming the Government.
Sri Lanka Freedom Party General Secretary Dayasiri Jayasekara, Ranjith Siyambalapitiya and Sarathi Dushmantha met Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe and discussed the SLFP’s support in forming the government.
This was stated at a discussion held at 10.00 am today between independent members of the 10 parties that left the ruling party and the Prime Minister.
Independent government MPs Vasudeva Nanayakkara, Wimal Weerawansa and Udaya Gammanpila yesterday expressed their support for Ranil Wickremesinghe.
The Prime Minister also received the support of Wigneswaran’s party yesterday.
Former Minister Udaya Gammanpila stated that the coalition of 10 parties has decided today to work in harmony with the Prime Minister and to support him in building the country without assuming any portfolios.
