Mahinda loses majority in parliament

(UTV | COLOMBO) – The number of parliamentarians who believe that the prime minister should step down and appoint a new prime minister has reportedly exceeded 115.

Meanwhile, former minister Udaya Gammanpila told the national newspaper that an affidavit signed by members of the opposition would be submitted to the Speaker in the future to prove that the opposition has a majority in parliament.
