Three in Rambukkana incident in Intensive Care Unit

(UTV | COLOMBO) – Thirty three persons who were injured due to the protest in Rambukkana area are still receiving treatment.

Out of these 13 civilians are receiving treatment at the Kegalle Hospital.

The Director of the Kegalle Hospital Dr. Mihiri Priyangani confirmed that three of them are receiving treatment in the Intensive Care Unit.

Twenty police officers injured in the incident were taken to the Kegalle Hospital this morning.

The Director of the Kegalle Hospital stated that 14 of them were transferred to the Kandy National Hospital for further treatment.

One person was killed in this incident yesterday.
