IMF arrives in Sri Lanka for discussions

(UTV | COLOMBO) – A team from the International Monitory Fund (IMF) are expected to hold discussions with officials of the Treasury Department on Monday (14). They will subsequently meet Finance Minister Basil Rajapaksa, the day after on Tuesday (15).

The second phase of discussions between the Government of Sri Lanka and the IMF will be held in the U.S Capital, Washington DC in April.

Secretary to the Treasury S.R Attygalle and Finance Minister Basil Rajapaksa along with officials from the Treasury Department are expected to attend this meeting.
