Government Executive Officers going on strike, Today

(UTV | COLOMBO) – Government Executive Officers will be going on a token strike on Thursday (10) citing multiple issues including the violations of the Wages Policy.

Seventeen Unions including the State Engineering Services Union, the Government Ayurveda Officers ‘Union, the Local Trade Union Confederation, the Labor Officers’ Union, and the Education Administrative Services Trade Union Confederation will be taking part in the strike.

Furthermore, The unions are expected to organize a protest in front of Fort Railway Station starting from 10 A.M. on Thursday (10).
