Amazon sets “All the Old Knives” for April

(UTV | UNITES STATES) – Amazon Prime has announced an April 8th release date for its all-star R-rated action-thriller-mystery feature “All the Old Knives”.

Amazon Prime has announced an April 8th release date for its all-star R-rated action-thriller-mystery feature “All the Old Knives” starring Chris Pine, Thandiwe Newton, Laurence Fishburne, and Jonathan Pryce.

An adaptation of Olen Steinhauer’s 2015 spy novel, Pine plays well-season CIA agent Henry Pelham who, in the wake of an information breach that led to over 100 deaths, is tasked with finding a mole within the agency.

The traitor came from his time at the Vienna office with those operatives now spread out across the globe. His assignment takes him from Austria to the UK and a reunion with an ex-lover (Newton) on the U.S. west coast as he closes in on the defector.

Steinhauer penned the screenplay while Danish filmmaker Janus Metz directs. The film will arrive simultaneously in cinemas and on the streamer in the United States from April 8th with a trailer expected to arrive shortly.
