“Street Fighter 6” game announced

(UTV | COLOMBO) – Gaming giant Capcom has officially announced “Street Fighter 6”.

Coinciding with its official esports tournament Capcom Pro Tour 2021 Season Final, gaming giant Capcom has officially announced “Street Fighter 6”.

A teaser trailer for the title has been released with more details about the game to be announced this Summer. It’s not clear what platforms the game will release on at present.

They add that the aim of the new title is to “elevate the fighting game genre to a new level in the world of esports while also utilizing [our] cutting-edge development technology to produce an enthralling game experience.”

The news follows on from Capcom also revealing the ten-game compilation title “Capcom Fighting Collection” which includes some titles never released in the West before.

The full list is: “Darkstalkers: The Night Warriors”, “Night Warriors: Darkstalkers’ Revenge”, “Vampire Savior: The Lord of Vampire”, “Vampire Hunter 2: Darkstalkers’ Revenge”, “Vampire Savior 2: The Lord of Vampire”, “Red Earth”, “Cyberbots: Fullmetal Madness”, “Super Gem Fighter Mini Mix”, “Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo”, and “Hyper Street Fighter II”

All ten games in the compilation will include online play and rollback netcode along with more than 400 music tracks spanning all ten games. The Capcom Fighting Collection will be released on PS4, Xbox One, Switch and PC on June 24th.
