The Met Department predicted showers or thundershowers at several places in the Southern province and in the Ratnapura district during the evening or night.
Mainly fair weather will prevail elsewhere. Meanwhile, misty conditions can be expected at some places in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central and Uva provinces during the morning.
