(UTV | COLOMBO) – Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places in the evening or night.
Several spells of showers will occur in the Eastern, Uva, Northern and North-central provinces and in the Matale and Nuwara Eliya districts today (31), says the Met Department.
Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places in the Western, Southern and Sabaragamuwa provinces and in the Kandy district in the evening or night.
Fairly heavy showers of more than 50 mm can be expected at some places in the Southern province and in the Ratnapura and Kalutara districts.
The Department requests the public to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by temporary localized strong winds and lightning during thundershowers.
