(UTV | COLOMBO) – The Department of Meteorology says the low-level atmospheric disturbance still persists to the South-east of Sri Lanka.
The Department predicts showers or thundershowers in the Northern, North-Central, Eastern, Central and Uva provinces and in the Hambantota district, with fairly heavy showers above 50mm in the Eastern and Uva provinces and in the Hambanthota, Polonnaruwa and Matale districts. The Department also predicts showers or thundershowers in the Western and Sabaragamuwa provinces and in the Galle and Matara districts, with heavy showers of about 100mm in the Ratnapura, Kaluthara, Galle and Matara districts.
