Aung San Suu Kyi sentenced to four years in jail

(UTV | MYANMAR) – Ousted Myanmar leader Aung San Suu Kyi has been sentenced to four years in prison.

She was found guilty on charges of incitement and breaking a natural disasters law.

She has 11 charges laid against her and could face more than a hundred years in prison if found guilty of all.

Ms Suu Kyi, 76, was leading an elected civilian government before being ousted by a military coup in February.
