Olive and Rural Products Festival kicks off in Jordan

(UTV | JORDAN) – Khaled Al-Hanifat, Jordanian Minister of Agriculture, launched the 21st Olive and Rural Products Festival, today, Thursday, which the Ministry of Agriculture organizes annually.

Al-Hanifat emphasized that the agricultural sector sees constant progress in production techniques.

It is worth mentioning that Jordan is one of the top ten olive-producing countries in the world, with an estimated one million acres of olive trees grown in the Kingdom, including more than 20 kinds.
