(UTV | CAMBODIA) – In pursuit of improving the health and living conditions of Khmer Rouge survivors, USAID Cambodia announced lately an additional $5 million grant for (Advancing the Rights and Improving the Conditions of the Health of Khmer Rouge Survivors) Project that will be managed by the Documentation Center of Cambodia (DC-Cam).
The additional grant brings the activity’s total value to $6.5 million, which will help provide access for Khmer Rouge genocide survivors to health care, facilitate the documentation of their health conditions and concerns and improve their socio-economic conditions, as a contribution to heal what they have experienced during the Khmer Rouge Regime period.
