Mongolian meat exports decline due to slaughter standards

(UTV | MONGOLIA) – Mongolia encounters a decline in meat exports due to the failure to introduce halal slaughtering technology that meets international standards, even though it has 70 million livestock.

B. Aiben, the founder of the “Sultan Meat” company, believes that the development of halal technology will have a better impact on Mongolian meat exports in the coming years.

He called on other meat suppliers to develop halal technology.

He called on meat suppliers to seek the introduction of halal technology to increase the volume of exports, adding that Kazakhs living in Mongolia used halal meat but now times have changed and Mongolians are consuming it as well.
