(UTV | COLOMBO) – The Ministry of Education stated that the Ordinary Level and Advanced Level grades of all schools in the country will commence compulsorily tomorrow and all arrangements have been made for that.
Ministry Secretary Prof. Kapila Perera stated that the COVID Suppression Committee has received recommendations to commence the 10, 11, 12 and 13 Grade academic activities.
Schools in the island had been closed from time to time for about two years due to the COVID pandemic.
Attention has already been paid to the commencement of academic activities from Grade 6 to Grade 9 as well as to cover missed syllabi and to conduct examinations.
