Floods in Phnom Penh affect 3,000 families

(UTV | CAMBODIA) – About 3000 Cambodian families, in the south of Phnom Penh, were affected by the floods caused by heavy rains in Cambodia, where those families were forced to live in temporary shelters and tents, waiting for the water level to drop in their streets and homes.

Residents confirmed that they had not witnessed such massive floods in more than 20 years.

The floods in the country since the beginning of October have killed many people and caused severe damage to citizens’ homes and infrastructure.
