(UTV | COLOMBO) – Academic activities of all schools for students in Grades 10, 11, 12, and 13 will resume on the 8th of November.
The Ministry of Education said the National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak granted consent in this regard.
Minister of Education Dinesh Gunawardena said classes will resume for students in Grades 6 to 9 when health directives are received.
Speaking to media this morning in Kandy, the Minister said it is crucial to manage the existing timeframe and formulate plans with relevant sections to cover the syllabi that have been missed and to conduct examinations accordingly.
