(UTV | COLOMBO) – Apple TV+ has premiered the trailer for the six-episode Korean thriller series “Dr. Brain” which premieres November 4th and marks the streamer’s first Korean language series.
Based on the popular Korean webtoon by Hongjacga, the story follows neuroscientist Sewon (Parasite’s Lee Sun-kyun) who suffers a horrific personal tragedy when his family falls victim to a mysterious accident.
Desperate to uncover what happened, he goes to extraordinary lengths to solve the tragic mystery by conducting ‘brain syncs’ with the dead to access their memories for clues.
Lee You-young, Park Hee-soon, Seo Ji-hye, and Lee Jae-won co-star while the project is executive produced, written, and directed by celebrated “I Saw the Devil” filmmaker Kim Jee-woon.
Forthcoming episodes will be released weekly through December 10th.
