(UTV | COLOMBO) – An individual has been killed and another injured, in a shooting reported in Kotikawatta, Mulleriyawa.
Police said the incident was reported between 6.30 and 7am today.
The deceased was a 42-year-old while the injured individual is aged 45.
Police said the person who sustained injuries has been admitted to the Colombo National Hospital for treatment.
The shooting was carried out by two individuals who arrived in a motorbike and Police investigations are underway to identify the suspects.
Further investigations are being carried out by the Anti-Vice Unit of Western Province-South, Nugegoda Anti-Vice and the Mulleriyawa Police.
