(UTV | COLOMBO) -Another 561 persons who contracted the novel coronavirus have recovered and have been discharged from hospitals, raising the number of recoveries to 458,646.
The Epidemiology Unit of the Ministry of Health said accordingly, 47,165 persons are currently receiving treatment for coronavirus at several facilities across the country.
The number of COVID-19 cases confirmed in Sri Lanka remains at 518,775 following the detection of 893 patients yesterday.
Sri Lanka’s coronavirus death toll is currently at 12,964.
