(UTV | COLOMBO) – The Epidemiology Unit of the Ministry of Health says 23,777,338 vaccine doses in total have been administered in the country since January.
290,615 vaccine doses against COVID-19 were administered yesterday.
Accordingly, 5,690 individuals were administered the first dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine, while 1,247 persons received the second jab.
Meanwhile 85,784 persons were administered the first dose of the Sinopharm vaccine while 169,591 individuals received the second dose.
During yesterday’s vaccination drive, 13,891 individuals have been inoculated with the first dose of the Pfizer vaccine while 314 persons had received the second Pfizer jab.
Furthermore, 165 persons were given the first jab of the Moderna vaccine while 13,933 individuals had received the second dose of the Sputnik-V vaccine yesterday.
