Israel responds to international pressure by opening the crossings to reconstruct Gaza

(UTV | PALESTINE) – After international pressure, Israel agreed for the first time to open commercial crossings, allowing merchants to travel and relocate, after blocking all crossings since the end of the last war on Gaza.

Israel’s approval came after European and Arab countries urged to lift the siege, open commercial crossings, and facilitate the entry of citizens through the crossings so that citizens perceive a change in alleviating the suffering they are experiencing.

The Director of Public Relations at the Chamber of Commerce, Maher Al-Tabbaa, stated that the cost of the destruction in Gaza has so far reached one and a half-billion dollars.
