Elections and human smuggling at the top of EU Representative’s tasks

(UTV | IRAQ) – The representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josef Borrell, arrived in Baghdad and met with the Iraqi Minister of Foreign Affairs, Fouad Hussein, at the ministry’s headquarters.

The two sides conducted a joint press conference to address several subjects, including the support of the Baghdad Conference for Cooperation and Partnership, and the Iraqi government’s achievements in attracting Arab and regional leaders, in addition to holding the elections on time in the presence of international observers, as well as the file of illegal immigrants, and human smuggling networks that are active in Iraq.
