Tunisian woman breaks stereotype working in furniture renovation and decorating

(UTV | TUNISIA) – Life circumstances compelled Faten El Hajji to engage in the field of renovating antique furniture, a vocation that had been dominated by males in Tunisia for decades due to its difficulty, physical effort, and patience it requires, however, Faten has mastered the career during 8 years and launched her workshop in the heart of the old city in Tunis.

Faten points out that the profession has become one of the fundamentals of her life, despite the presence of her children, as she seeks to balance their upbringing with her work.
