Designated Officers for COVID at all institutions

(UTV | COLOMBO) – The Ministry of Health requests all institutions to appoint an officer designated for COVID-19 as soon as possible.

The designated officer’s duties include managing the patients who are identified as infected at the institutional level, refer them to medical advice and coordinate with the health authorities in charge of the area.

The Ministry of Health states that it is confident that the appointment of an officer in charge of COVID-19 will reduce the spread of the virus in society.
