Special mobile vaccination program from today

(UTV | COLOMBO) – A COVID-19 vaccination program conducted by the Sri Lanka Police and the Colombo Municipal Council will be held today from 9am – 5pm at the Community Center of ‘Mihijaya Sevana in Modara.

People over 30 years in Colombo city limits can receive the vaccine at this centre.

Mobile vaccination program by the Sri Lanka Army Meanwhile, the Sri Lanka Army is scheduled to launch a special mobile vaccination program from today (12).

The Sri Lanka Army stated that this will be implemented in the Western Province for elderly and persons with various needs who are immobile and or bed ridden and cannot go to a vaccination center and therefore who have not yet been vaccinated.

Accordingly, this mobile vaccination program is scheduled to commence today at the Army Headquarters premises in Sri Jayewardenepura.

10 special vehicles including the medical teams of the Army Medical Corps have been prepared for this purpose.

The Sri Lanka Army stated that the public who wish to undergo this mobile vaccination can register by calling 011 -2 860 002 or 1906.
