Nearly 200,000 administered COVID vaccines during past 24 hours

(UTV | COLOMBO) – The Epidemiology Unit of the Ministry of Health stated that 97,966 persons were administered the first dose of the Sinopharm vaccine yesterday (04), while 11,058 persons were given the second dose of the Sinopharm vaccine.

The first dose of the Pfizer vaccine was administered to 1,308 persons, while the second dose was administered to six persons.

The first dose of the Moderna vaccine was administered to 5,625 persons.

The first dose of the COVISHIELD vaccine was given to 30,499, with 50,893 persons were given the second dose of the same vaccine.

The cumulative total stands where 1,004,231 persons were given the first dose of the COVISHIELD vaccine, while 807,539 were given the second dose of the same vaccine.

The first dose of the Sinopharm vaccine was administered to 8,527,195 persons, with 1,823,802 persons being administered the second dose of the vaccine.

The first dose of the Sputnik V vaccine was administered to 159,081 persons, while the second dose of the same vaccine was administered to 14,503.

The first dose of the Pfizer vaccine was administered to 202,815, while 198 persons were administered the second dose of the Pfizer vaccine.

The Moderna vaccine was administered to 723,361.
