Protest held demanding fuel price reduction

(UTV | COLOMBO) – A protest was held today at the Parliamentary roundabout demanding the government to reduce the domestic fuel prices.

Several opposition MPs were part of the protest which was held while adhering to quarantine regulations.

Protestors said the recent fuel hike has burdened all segments of the society and therefore demanded the government to reduce the prices.
