Over 200 arrested for failing to adhere to health regulations

(UTV | COLOMBO) – Over 200 individuals were arrested yesterday (10) for failing to adhere to health and safety regulations.

Accordingly, 214 arrests were made for not wearing face masks and failing to maintain social distancing, the Police Media Spokesperson, the Senior Deputy Inspector General of Police (SDIG) Ajith Rohana said.

The DIG added that 49,259 suspects have been arrested since 30 October in this regard.
