Water crisis in Al Hasakah exacerbates amid soaring temperatures in Syria [VIDEO]

(UTV | SYRIA) – As water supply from the Aluk water station was cuff off for more than a month, the water crisis in Al Hasakah has exacerbated to an alarming status.

From its part, the water department started to distribute water containers.

However, the supply doesn’t cover the water demand, not to mention that many children got sick from drinking the contaminated water.

It is worth mentioning that Aluk wells, which are run by the Syrian opposition, are the main source of water for more than one million people in Al Hasakah and its countryside.
