(UTV | COLOMBO) – A COVID-19 vaccination programme has commenced for Sri Lankans traveling overseas for higher education purposes.
Accordingly, a registration process has been introduced with effect from today.
A vaccination programme, carried out by the Sri Lanka Army, will administer the Chinese manufactured Sinopharm vaccine to students travelling to countries that require individuals to be fully vaccinated.
Students who seek to obtain the vaccine have been informed that the registration process is open as of today via the National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak website www.army.lk/covid19 by clicking on the “PRE-DEPARTURE VACCINATION-STUDENTS” section.
Once registered, an individual within a two-day period, will receive a SMS informing the date, time and relevant vaccination centre to receive the vaccine jab.
