(UTV | COLOMBO) – The highest number of COVID vaccinations administered in a single day was carried out yesterday (30 June) with 170,995 vaccinations of Sinopharm, stated State Minister Prof. Channa Jayasumana.
The Epidemiology Unit of the Ministry of Health stated that 91,759 persons were administered the first dose of the Sinopharm vaccine yesterday (30), while 79,236 persons were given the second dose of the Sinopharm vaccine.
The second dose of the Oxford AstraZeneca COVISHIELD vaccine was administered to 2523 persons, while the second dose of the Sputnik V vaccine was administered to 2 persons.
The cumulative total stands where 925,242 persons were given the first dose of the COVISHIELD vaccine, while 378,307 were given the second dose of the same vaccine.
The first dose of the Sinopharm vaccine was administered to 1,749,500 persons, with 684,352 persons being administered the second dose of the vaccine.
The first dose of the Sputnik V vaccine was administered to 114,795 persons, while 14,427 persons were administered the second dose of the Sputnik V vaccine.
