(UTV | COLOMBO) – Though it hasn’t been greenlit yet, the wheels are already turning on a sequel to this year’s Bob Odenkirk-led action-comedy “Nobody”.
Doing interviews for the film’s home release, director Ilya Naishuller tells JoBlo work has already begun on a script for a sequel to the first film which scored rave reviews and made $61.5 million at the box-office of a $16 million budget:
“There’s plenty of stories that can be told in this world, with the character Hutch. I know that Derek (Kolstad – the writer) has begun work on the sequel. Whether it’ll happen, time will tell, but all the necessary seeds have been planted.”
Naishuller also indicated that “Wonder Woman” actress Connie Nielsen, who played Hutch’s wife, will get in on the action next time. “Nobody” is currently available to own digitally and hits discs on June 22nd.
