Cooper, Booth lead Western “Dirty Black Bag”

(UTV | COLOMBO) – Dominic Cooper (“Preacher”) and Douglas Booth (“And Then There Were None”) are teaming on the eight-part spaghetti western drama series “That Dirty Black Bag”.

The story centers on the eight-day clash between Arthur McCoy (Cooper), an incorruptible sheriff with a troubled past, and Red Bill (Booth), an infamous and solitary bounty hunter known for decapitating his victims and stuffing their heads into a dirty black bag.

In this world there are no heroes, nobody is invincible, and predators become the prey. Travis Fimmel, Aidan Gillen, Anna Chancellor, Christian Cooke, Paterson Joseph, Niv Sultan, Guido Caprino, Rose Williams, Eugene Brave Rock and Zoe Boyle co-star.

Italian filmmaker Mauro Aragoni co-wrote the series with Silvia Ebreul, Marcello Izzo and Fabio Paladini. Aragoni and Brian O’Malley are co-directing the English language series which hails from Bron Studios and Italian producer Palomar.

Filming is now underway in Italy, Spain and Morocco.
