(UTV | COLOMBO) – The Colombo Crimes Division (CCD) has arrested 6 more individuals for attending a birthday party organised by Chandimal Jayasinghe and Pumi Hansamali on the night of 30 May at a hotel in Colombo.
Accordingly, the 3 males and 3 females are expected to be produced before Colombo Magistrate’s Court today (04).
Fifteen individuals including Chandimal and Piumi were taken into custody for failing to adhere to health and safety regulations and were later granted bail. However, the attendees were subsequently sent to a Quarantine Centre in Passara for a period of 14-days.
