Patient infected with COVID-19 escaped in Colpetty

(UTV | COLOMBO) – A patient infected with the COVID-19 escaped from a private hospital in Colpetty last evening (25), the Police said.

Police Spokesperson, Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Ajith Rohana said that the patient is a resident of Ampara, identified as Mohamed Rikaz.

The public have been urged to provide any information they have on the person to the Colpetty Police.
